This weekend I’ve spent a lot (maybe too much?) time browsing Nordstrom.com checking out their Anniversary Sale that started on Friday. I’m a sale-driven shopper like anyone else, so it’s no surprise I filled up my virtual shopping bag pretty quickly.
Here are six must-have pairs.
1.) Rebecca Minkoff Noelle Embellished Platform Sneakers. Originally $149.95, on sale for $99.90. Embroidery is still on trend for fall and the colors of these floral kicks are gorgeous.
2.) STATE Waylan Slip-On Sneaker. Originally $99.95, on sale for $59.90. I want these in Slate (a shade of army-green with a suede fabrication) or (and??) Black Croco Leather, a great basic black shoe.
3.) Vans Sk8-Hi Slim Sneakers. Originally $64.95, on sale for $42.90. These are my Vans! I love these high tops, and now they’re on sale! Time for me to get a back up pair.
4.) Vince Wade High Top Sneaker. Originally $250, on sale for $164.90. There are limited sizes left on this shoe (one of the benefit of big feet is my size is often still there), so grab them while you can. I love that these high tops are slide on, with unique elastic side panels. The platform makes them extra cool. This is the perfect basic black sneaker for fall.
5.) Badgley Mischka Barre Crystal Embellished Slip-On Sneaker. Originally $185, on sale for $119.90. These are perfect “dressy sneakers,” which is absolutely a thing. It’s hard to decided between Black Velvet and Misty Rose Velvet, because both are such good neutrals, but either way, you can’t go wrong with a sneaker with crystal embellishments.
6.) Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Knit Low Top Sneaker. Originally $59.95, on sale for $39.90. This classic shoe is an easy choice. The knit fabrication makes them extra comfy and will look great with cropped jeans this fall. Adding another pair of Chucks to your closet is never a bad idea.
